Shenzhen Copyright Association Jewelry Professional Committee

In recent years, Shenzhen has been actively promoting the development strategy plan of the "20+8" industrial clusters and accelerating the construction of a global influential science and technology innovation highland. Led by the Secretariat of the Copyright Association, nearly 20 jewelry-related member units have conducted in-depth research based on the needs of some enterprises in the jewelry industry in Shenzhen. In response to the actual needs of jewelry design companies to solve and optimize the management, utilization, and commercialization of intellectual property assets, and to standardize the jewelry industry and protect the interests of many jewelry design companies, the Jewelry Professional Committee of the Shenzhen Copyright Association was established on April 23, 2024, based on the needs and feedback of many enterprises.

Work Directions

1、Promote the Healthy Development of the Jewelry Industry: By regulating and guiding copyright issues in the jewelry industry, and through training and publicity, a good atmosphere of respecting intellectual property rights will be fostered within the industry. This helps to enhance the overall innovation capability and competitiveness of the industry, and promotes its healthy development.
2、Protect Jewelry Design Copyrights: Through visits, training, lectures, and other means, jewelry and gemstone designers will be assisted in more professionally and efficiently handling the registration, protection, and rights protection of jewelry and gemstone design copyrights. This ensures that designers' creativity and efforts are properly protected, and their legitimate rights and interests are not infringed.
3、Improve Industry Standards and Quality: The committee plans to actively participate in the formulation and promotion of relevant standards for jewelry design and manufacturing, to enhance the overall quality and design level of jewelry products. This will increase consumer confidence in jewelry products and improve the overall image of the jewelry industry.
4、Strengthen Internal and External Industry Exchanges and Cooperation: The committee aims to build a bridge for communication and cooperation between the jewelry industry and the government, other industry associations, and international organizations. By organizing various seminars, exhibitions, and other activities, it will strengthen information exchange and resource sharing within and outside the industry, and promote the internationalization of the jewelry industry.
5、Assist Jewelry Companies in Responding to Market Changes and Challenges: The jewelry industry is facing challenges such as intensified market competition and diversified consumer demands. The timely collection and analysis of market information by the committee will help provide strategic advice and market guidance to jewelry companies, assisting them in responding to market changes and seizing development opportunities.
6、Promote the Improvement of Intellectual Property-related Laws and Regulations: The committee will participate in the formulation and improvement of industry copyright laws and regulations, providing the legislative authorities with the actual situation and professional opinions within the industry, and promoting the better service of relevant laws and regulations for the development of the jewelry industry.
