### I. Purpose of the Activity

Copyright is one of the three pillars of intellectual property rights, alongside patents and trademarks. Compared to industrial property rights, copyright represents the monetization of cultural values, possessing not only unique social attributes but also significant economic characteristics. The establishment of the Copyright Gold Award aims to:

- **Encourage creation** and promote the continuous emergence of outstanding cultural achievements.
- **Promote the utilization and protection of copyrights** to foster innovation and development in related industries such as news publishing, broadcasting, film and television, literature and art, creative design, and animation and gaming. This will drive balanced development of the city's soft and hard power, enhance copyright awareness in Shenzhen's cultural and creative industries, and positively impact the legal environment for innovation, respect for copyrights, and copyright protection. As the only significant copyright-related event in this year's Creative December activities, the Shenzhen Copyright Gold Award seeks to identify typical cases that transform creative works into marketable products, thereby leading the way in enhancing design innovation and promoting high-quality development in the copyright industry.

The awards are divided into six categories, totaling 30 awards:

- **Copyright Works Gold Award** (10 awards)
- **Copyright Utilization Gold Award** (5 awards)
- **Copyright Protection Gold Award** (5 awards)
- **Excellent Copyright Manager Award** (5 awards)
